Analyze Astrology Charts with me! Solar Returns, Aquarius and Pisces Stelliums

Hi everyone!

Today I’m taking a look at the Solar Return for one of my clients for 2026. Check out my post What a Solar Return session looks like to learn what a Solar Return is and my approach to analyzing and working with Solar Returns.

Let’s take a look at the Solar Return chart in question. I’ve already added the timestamps for each planet so that we can track the development of the Solar Return themes throughout the year.

At first glance

This Solar Return chart is basically comprised of one main aspect figure, which is the Small Talent Triangle. It is made up of one long trine and two short sextile aspects. These aspect lines are all blue, which in Huber astrology, is indicative that the energies will flow relatively seamlessly for the year and will naturally build to the apex of the small talent triangle (located where the two short sextile lines meet. There is one short green semisextile line connecting the North Node to the cluster of planets (also called a stellium) over in the 8th house. Through this semisextile, the North Node connects itself to the main aspect figure Small Talent Triangle, so the North Node works together with the overall energies.

Lastly, the client will experience Jupiter in retrograde in 1st house Cancer that is not configured to any other planet. According to Huber Astrology, having no aspect lines makes this Jupiter placement a wild card, meaning that we don’t know or don’t have supplementary information for how this planet is going to express itself. This is a way that Source adds extra possibility into the mix. By not even giving clues to us astrologers, we’re not able to give extra clues to the client on what this placement will mean. The client will explore this placement experientially as it comes! As Jupiter is in Cancer, which is a wonderful or exalted placement, I expect positive outcomes from this placement. Jupiter is also placed in the 1st house of self, and as a planet symbolizing luck and expansion, I trust that whatever happens is for the client’s highest expansion and abundance. Generally Jupiter in Cancer speaks to an expansion of compassion, nurturance, and return to Yin principles. These are all highly beneficial during these chaotic times.

Diving into the 8th house Aquarius Stellium

Snapshot of Solar Return chart showing an 8th house Aquarius stellium of Mars, Pluto, Sun, Mercury, and Venus with timestamps included.

When we incorporate the timestamps into our analysis, we see that the client starts their solar year immersed in the 8th house Aquarius stellium. Here, we have Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Pluto all clustered in the 8th house of Aquarius together. When we have this stellium configuration, a mixture of all these powerful energies will blend together to give us the meaning of this theme. The client will always start their year off with the Sun activation, and will experience subsequent energies counterclockwise. Thus, as of the time of this analysis, the client has experienced their Sun, Mercury, and Venus activations in this theme. 8th house Aquarius themes speak to the awareness of how power dynamics and power sovereignty really impact the collective. The client will become extremely aware of ways in which the collective suffers from not stepping into their true power, be it through various systems of self-knowledge, financial, political power systems, etc. As we incorporate Mercury and Venus into this interpretation, we can see that the client will perhaps begin thinking or speaking more about this topic. They will be aware of how stepping into one’s own power begets more power. In other words, the client has the ability to begin implementing the Law of Attraction, but for collective empowerment.

Please refer back to the main chart to understand that it will take about a whole year for the 8th house stellium theme to fully mature for the client. The client will not experience the final Mars and Pluto activations until 1/20/27 and 1/23/27. In between then, the client will go on to experience the other points on the Small Talent Triangle that speak to other interrelated themes. As Mars and Pluto are arguably some of the heavy hitters of the planets, we can predict that although the client is beginning to be energized, articulate, and engaged in attracting concepts of collective empowerment, they are not fired up about the topic yet. Or rather, whatever intensity they feel towards the topic now, is only the beginning. By January 2027, the client will likely be ready to take more explicit action on the themes of collective empowerment.

Pisces/Aries Stellium in 10th house

I will touch first on the North Node activation, as the client will encounter this first. The North Node in 10th house Pisces is connected to the 8th house stellium through a green semisextile line. This aspect suggests that client is in a learning mode to see how the 8th house Aquarius themes of collective empowerment can be channeled into a spiritual or humanitarian calling or career. With Pisces, I will typically say Spiritual or Humanitarian related to give flexibility for the wide array of ways that we experience the sign of Pisces. Often, we can look to other elements in the chart to give us a leaning whether the interpretation is more ‘Spiritual’ or ‘Humanitarian’. Due to the 11th house and Aquarius aspects of Society, I interpret that this calling is more on the Humanitarian side rather than focusing on Unseen or Spiritual forces.

The 10th house Pisces/Aries stellium is made up of Saturn and Neptune in Pisces and Moon in Aries. With the Moon configured to this stellium, we can tell that this topic is one that the client is very passionate about. With the Moon in Aries, the client is more likely to take bolder action on this desire. As the stellium is placed in the 10th house of Career and Calling, it is an excellent environment for the client to take action to walk closer to her calling. Now, we do have the more passive Pisces placements with Saturn and Neptune. These two planets have a combined interpretation that suggest that the client is beginning to to plant seeds to the larger vision of her calling. As in, this could be the start. Nevertheless, taking starting action still requires effort and exertion, but it may be less visible physically than if we had Mars in the 10th house.

Uranus retrograde in 11th house Taurus

It is only in May 2026 that the client will encounter the three energies that make up the Small Talent Triangle. The last piece of the puzzle speaks to the client either becoming more aware of or actively implementing change in the realm of safety in their society and community. Throughout the last 8 years that we have had Uranus transiting Taurus, I have seen a big theme for physical safety and emotional safety. People typically associate Taurus with peace, but as a trauma therapist, I’m very aware that we cannot have peace if we do not know we are safe first. This is one of Uranus’ big gifts to us in this Taurus transit. It has helped us take the hard actions to create pathways for more physical, emotional, somatic, and environmental safety. No doubt, these themes are related to client’s calling in the 10th house, combined with the fervor for collective empowerment.

It is important to note that for this solar return chart in particular, the client’s individual growth also brings out collective growth. This becomes the transpersonal planets Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are woven so integrally into this solar return chart. Not every person will experience their year like this, but I would like to suggest that we all follow suit and make deeper connections on how our individual journeys are part of the collective journey.

What happens between July 2026 and January 2027?

You might think that nothing will happen in this time period where the client does not experience direct planetary activations. However, what will happen is that client will continue to marinate and develop in the themes already exposed from January 2026 to July 2026. Throughout this time, the Sun will actually be making various aspects (semisextile, sextile, trine, square, opposition, quincunx) to the planets in the solar return chart. I don’t include detailed analysis of these aspects as too much astrological scrutiny can make us go crazy. This being said, the client will continue to develop their understanding and conviction of these themes until January 2027 when they will likely take some concrete action when the Mars and Pluto activation occurs.
