About Chinoiserie Ascension
Historically, "Chinoiserie" emerged as a European artistic movement that imitated and romanticized Chinese art through a superficial, exotic lens. But if we stop treating Chinoiserie as a dead, objectified relic of the past, we unlock its true metaphysical reality: it represents the literal birth of Asian-Anglo energy. It was the very first playground of cross-cultural experimentation and deep examination. For those of us who are bicultural, navigating the Asian-Anglo intersection is not a state of being torn between two worlds—it is our ultimate superpower. It allows us to harness the deep, uninterrupted currents of ancient ancestral power while simultaneously utilizing the sharp tools of discernment, objective reflection, and constant revision that come from a Western upbringing.
Many channelers, spiritual intuitives, and mystics have long discussed the current arrival of the Ascension—a pivotal cosmic window where humanity is finally lifting itself out of the heavy density it descended into since the beginning of the Kali Yuga (the Hindu Age of Darkness, which traditionally commenced around 3102 BCE). This massive planetary shift means we are deeply invited to break our destructive, cyclic patterns and actively heal the deep backlog of collective human trauma. To support this, the Western spiritual movement has focused beautifully on healing the heart, reconnecting intimately with nature, and clearing our intuitive channels to the divine. These frameworks offer vital, necessary maps for global healing. However, they are not universally effective on their own. They cannot fully penetrate the specific, deeply layered matrix that holds the Asian diaspora captive unless we approach the psyche from a culturally specific angle. To break a lock, you must use a key designed for that specific door. Until we approach ascension through this cultural lens, any spiritual teaching is simply a form of bypassing that avoids the real work of cellular liberation.
Chinoiserie: The Alchemical Fusion
To pick this lock, we have to look directly at the ancient origin code of our conditioning: the Chinese Imperial Matrix. Most Chinese Americans grow up hearing a heavily romanticized, whitewashed version of history summarized in a single, proud sentence: "The Qin Dynasty unified China for the first time." What they are rarely taught is that this mythic "unification" in 221 BCE was actually a brutal, totalitarian blueprint for the systematic destruction and erasure of human sovereignty. Under the guise of creating one mega-blended race, the empire used violent military conquest to crush unique regional cultures, ban localized traditions, and physically eliminate independent languages. Millions of conquered peoples—who once possessed their own distinct bloodlines, vibrant indigenous cultures, sovereign languages, and deeply rooted earth-based spiritual traditions—were systematically brainwashed into serving the very empire that subjugated them. Over generations of forced assimilation, they were made to completely forget themselves, their gods, and their original identities, mistaking the prison walls of their captors for their own heritage.
This process of violent Sinification was executed for the pure pleasure of expansion and territorial domination. To optimize this newly blinded, conquered population into a flawless, automated, top-down machine, every single aspect of everyday life was completely re-engineered. The state curated and weaponized Confucian social codes, embedding rigid patriarchy, extreme elder worship, and obsessive notions of blood purity directly into the baseline operating system of the family unit. The household was intentionally transformed into a miniature mirror of the authoritarian state, conditioning children from birth to serve the father exactly as the citizen must submit to the Emperor.
Dissecting the Chinese Imperial Matrix
The Sovereign Threat: The Taiwanese Example
The living friction of this matrix is exposed most clearly through the modern Taiwanese example. As a Taiwanese American woman, I carry a unique and painful clarity regarding this conditioning. The vast majority of people in Taiwan share the exact same Han ethnicity as mainland China—we are essentially brethren, bound by blood, language, and shared history. Yet, because Taiwan chooses to stand as a sovereign entity and resist the total absorption of the Chinese Imperial Matrix, we are met with constant, unyielding threats of military violence and flashing missiles.
This reality completely strips away the romantic lie of the conditioning. We are told by our elders that if we are good enough, if we work hard, and if we live a deeply traditional, Confucian-influenced lifestyle, we will ensure our peace and safety. But Taiwan proves that no amount of cultural perfection or filial excellence saves you from the threat of destruction. The empire does not actually care about cultural preservation; it demands compliance. It demands the absolute submission of your independent, sovereign will. If they cannot harvest your life force—if you dare to resist and maintain your boundaries—they will actively try to eliminate you because you are no longer useful to the machine. This is how we know that the imperial matrix is not about honoring sacred culture—it is entirely about the control, subjugation, and harvesting of human life force.
The beautiful, global goals of the Ascension—healing the heart, returning to nature, and channeling the divine—become virtually impossible to manifest when your vital life force is actively being harvested by this ancient imperial machine. It is a grueling, exhausting battle to lift your personal density when you are constantly being policed, criticized, and dragged back into compliance by family, friends, and peers who are all heavily indoctrinated in this exact software.
To break free, the very first thing we must do is become aware and educated on the true history of our lineages. This education allows us to recognize the unconscious, conditioned imperial software running in our everyday behaviors and actively choose to change it. Thes distortions show up constantly in our normalized, modern lives. We live in a fractured state where people proudly claim the title of feminist, yet automatically collapse into people-pleasing because their nervous system equates a boundary with exile. We claim to honor the female principle in private, yet immediately tear down other women who dare to be visible. We trap ourselves in exhausting, performative productivity—running ourselves ragged to prove our utility to a corporate or societal "Emperor"—while privately engaging in spiritual rituals, completely unsure if anything is actually working. Our separation from oneness is glaringly evident in our profound disconnection from nature and interconnectivity, replaced instead by a hyper-vigilant, dog-eat-dog survival mindset born from generations of famine and war. This is because our true spiritual legacy has been systematically hidden from us, replacing our original earth-based animism and female deities with a top-down patriarchal demand to obey the Head of Household, the Father, and the State.
Breaking the Software Loop
If you are reading this in English, you wield an immense amount of privilege and power in the Western world. You are capable of an enormous, macro-level impact. Yet, if you are severed from your roots by the profound rupture of immigration, you are walking through that world as a phantom—highly successful on paper, but completely disconnected from your true spiritual power source. It is incredibly difficult to execute the heart-centered healing and intuitive divine connection recommended by Western New Age frameworks when your nervous system is still running the toxic, survival-based Imperial Matrix software. But upon deconditioning and detaching ourselves from that machine, we finally get to dust off our original, deeply functional Chinese spiritual software: the ancestral connection.
Reconnecting to your lineage requires moving past the cultural distortions that claim only men hold spiritual authority, or that absolute sovereignty is a betrayal of your family. The ancestral field is not a dictatorship; it is a bidirectional current. When you clear out the imperial distortions and plug back into the original grid, the primordial ancestors stand behind you as an unshakeable battery pack of protection and raw vital force. In return, you hold the unique privilege and safety to send your healed energy backward into the lineage—transmuting generations of collective trauma and fundamentally healing the Asian cultural field.
Reclaiming the Ancestral Power Grid
This work requires a dedicated, bicultural collective. The reality is that our brethren currently living in Asia cannot dismantle this system by themselves, much less save themselves, while actively subjected to the daily psychological, social, and military pressures of the Chinese Imperial Matrix. It takes those of us standing outside the immediate blast radius—equipped with both ancient roots and the privilege of Western reflection—to disrupt the pattern.
As a Wu Shaman, it is my specific role and sacred responsibility to hold the space for this liberation. To support this collective awakening, I will be continuously writing and updating educational articles in my Library section so everyone can become aware of distortions traveling through our culture, our practices, and our trauma bodies and learn to dismantle them and restore to wholeness. Beyond education, I conduct deep, focused shamanic sessions designed to channel information directly from the Dao 道 to support you in shedding the old software and moving toward your highest sovereign destiny.
When I speak of the Dao 道, I am referring to what Western New Age terms call Source, God, or Sophia the Creatrix. Chinese culture has known, communicated with, and mapped the currents of the Dao since long before the rise of the empire—our lineages have been interacting with and practicing the ways of the Dao since the prehistoric roots of the Shang Dynasty in 1600 BCE. My ultimate hope is that, as a unified collective, we can systematically dismantle the generational lies that the Chinese Imperial Matrix placed upon our bodies, our lineages, and our spiritual power. By dusting off this original, functional ancestral software and clearing the ancient imperial density, we can finally reclaim our true birthright and actively step forward to support all of humanity with the global Ascension.
